Guarantee Conditions
At Yaasa, quality and customer satisfaction come first. We grant all customers who have purchased Yaasa products in our European online shops, via Amazon (directly from Yaasa as the manufacturer) or from Yaasa sales partners after June 15, 2021, a voluntary, free guarantee for up to 10 years from the date of purchase on selected products ("Guaranteed Products"). The guarantee is defined on this page.
The guarantee applies from the date of the first purchase of the product (invoice date) and comprises the product lines detailed below.
The guarantee is valid throughout Europe (i.e. in all member states of the European Union and Switzerland) and can only be claimed by the original purchaser of the guaranteed product. The guarantee is only valid under the premise of normal and appropriate use. The guarantee claim can be settled - at our discretion - via the exchange or the free repair of the affected product.
1) Desks and Desk Frames
Covered by the Guarantee:
- Desk Expert | Frame Expert: 10-year guarantee on the frame and 5-year guarantee on drive/electrical components
- Desk Pro | Desk Pro Nature | Frame Pro: 7-year guarantee on the frame and 5-year guarantee on drive/electrical components

2) Chairs
Covered by the Guarantee:
- Chair Expert: 7-year guarantee on control elements (e.g. armrests, levers and handles for adjustments) and 5-year guarantee on mechanical parts
- Chair Classic | Chair Essential: 5-year guarantee on control elements (e.g. armrests, levers and handles for adjustments) and mechanical parts
- Chair Luis | Chair Luis Move: 5-year guarantee on the rotating mechanism and mechanical parts
Not Covered by the Guarantee:
- All chairs: Wear parts, gas springs, upholstery, fabric covers, frame parts and the seat bucket
3) Lamps
Covered by the Guarantee:
- Lamp Pro | Lamp Classic: 5-year guarantee on mechanical components and lighting elements
Not Covered by the Guarantee:

4) Accessories
Covered by the Guarantee:
- Cable Management | Privacy Wall: 5-year guarantee on breakage or tearing of the felt, breakage of the aluminum bracket, defects due to defective material or faulty workmanship (i.e. production defects)
- Monitor arm: 3-year guarantee on mechanical components, plastic parts and the gas pressure spring
General Exemptions to the Guarantee Conditions
In addition to the aforementioned, product specific exemptions, the guarantee does not cover:
(1) Damage due to improper use or handling
(2) Damage due to non-observance of the operating and assembly instructions
(3) Damage caused by force majeure
(4) Wear and tear of surfaces and material through use(e.g. scratches, loss of paint)
"Wear and tear” refers to natural and unavoidable damage, as well as depreciation that is the result of normal and appropriate use of the guaranteed products. This use can cause scratches and other potential damage to the paintwork or the frame, which are not covered by the guarantee.
This guarantee statement neither expands nor limits the customer's statutory guarantee claims or claims for damages.
The guarantee is voided if modifications are made to the guaranteed product that have not been recommended by Yaasa or approved in writing, or if repairs or changes are made to the product by persons who have not been commissioned by Yaasa or approved in writing.
Statutory rights, particularly statutory guarantees, are unaffected by this guarantee and continue to apply without restriction.

Procedure in the Event of a Guarantee Claim
Guarantee claims must be reported to Yaasa within the guarantee period, in writing and immediately after they occur, so that Yaasa can check the defect promptly. We limit our guarantee to the country in which the guaranteed product was handed over to the original buyer. The prerequisite for validation is proof of initial buyer status (retail invoice) and documentation of the guarantee case (photos, video, etc.)

After checking whether the guarantee claim is valid, Yaasa is to honor the guarantee by providing spare parts for the affected product or arranging for the product to be exchanged.
The installation or exchange of spare parts must be performed by the customer. In this case, in addition to the spare part, Yaasa will also provide the customer with detailed instructions to resolve the issue. Spare parts and their shipping are free in the event of a guarantee claim.
If a repair is not possible and/or an identical product is no longer available, Yaasa may supply the customer with an equivalent replacement product. The prerequisite for an exchange is the return of the guaranteed product by the customer. In this case, the return of the guaranteed product and the delivery of the replacement product are free of charge.
A refund of the purchase price is not possible, even in the event of a valid guarantee claim. The guarantee also does not grant any claims for damages.
The guarantee of up to 10 years (valid from the time of purchase) is neither extended nor renewed by a guarantee claim.
